those customers who have the old version( 6 or lower) or version 7 which was
upgraded from the previous version, you need to pay the upgrading fee to get
version 8, which is 20% of listing price for each upgrade.

About CompuTherm LLC
CompuTherm LLC provides powerful and easy to use phase diagram and
thermodynamic calculation software tools for industrial, academic, and
educational use. Professor Y. Austin Chang, Wisconsin
Distinguished Professor and member of the National Academy of Engineering,
started calculating phase diagrams at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in
the 1980's. In 1996, CompuTherm LLC was established to focus on the
development of phase diagram calculation software.

PANDATTM Software
Phase diagrams and related thermodynamic calculations are fundamental to understanding and predicting practical materials problems.
PANDATTM software is used by top companies and universities world-wide.
Pandat
is an integrated computational environment for phase diagram calculation
and materials property simulation of multi-component systems based on CALPHAD (CALculation
of PHAse Diagram) approach. It consists of three major function modules: PanEngine, PanOptimizer
and PanPrecipitation. More detailed

PanEngine, the calculation engine from Pandat, is available as a Dynamically Linked Library (DLL) that can be used to create custom software applications such as microstructure and microsegregation simulations.
PanOptimizer, a new module available since
Pandat 7.0, is a software package for evaluating thermodynamic, kinetic
and thermo-physical model parameters from experimental measurements.
PanPrecipitation, a new module
available since Pandat 7.0, is designed for simulating precipitation
kinetics during heat treatment processes. .
Thermodynamic Databases
Thermodynamic databases are necessary for thermodynamic calculations. CompuTherm has developed
databases for several commercial alloy systems.
