PanAluminum_MB - mobility database for the liquid and Fcc_A1 phases of aluminum alloys.

  • The assessed self-, impurity and chemical diffusion data are used to optimize the activation energies and model parameters.
  • The mobility database has been validated by many commercial aluminum alloys, such as A356, AA2xxx, AA6xxx and AA7xxx.

Applications - It is intended to use with PanAluminum thermodynamic database for the simulation of diffusion-controlled kinetic processes, such as solidification, precipitation, homogenization of alloys, recrystallization and protective coatings.

Following figure shows  a comparison of the calculated and measured tracer diffusivity of the fcc Al-Cu-Zn ternary alloys. The calculations describe the experimental data very well.
