PanNickel_MB - mobility database for the γ (Fcc_A1), γ’ (L12), Bcc_A2, B2 and liquid phases of nickel-based superalloys.

  • The assessed self-, impurity and chemical diffusion data are used to optimize the activation energies and model parameters.
  • The mobility database has been validated by many commercial nickel-based superalloys, such as 718, Waspaloy and Rene series nickel alloys.

Applications - It is intended to use with PanNickel thermodynamic database for the simulation of diffusion-controlled kinetic processes, such as  solidification, homogenization, γ’ precipitation, bonding, repairing, and protective coatings for nickel-based superalloys.


Following figure shows the calculated diffusivity for the γ-(Ni) phase at temperatures between 1323 and 1573K comparing with experimental data. Good agreement is found between the calculation and the experimental data.
